Dedicated Xbox communities have started writing regarding Sony's platform as a new development. The past year represented complete chaos for the Xbox ecosystem. But if we're going solely off what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it becomes clear that Microsoft remains determined to attract subscribers with strong games on its key platform.
The Available Now Titles
A pair of titles currently accessible today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass soon that's deserving of attention.
Upcoming Headline Games
Come mid-January, Game Pass will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that refreshes conventional open-world tropes with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "an ideal blend of terror and combat."
Intriguing Niche Additions
Yet, the less-hyped additions coming to Game Pass soon deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler offering thrilling gameplay, drops on Jan. 7th — and it merits a playthrough whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.
This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in in about 15 minutes flat.
Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.
A Solid, Curated Lineup
In summary, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, nor are they tentpole Microsoft studios games that validate the subscription alone. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. It offers a healthy blend of old games you might have missed and new-ish games that lacked the recognition they were due initially — which makes them excellent choices to find a new audience on Game Pass.
