Nearly Ninety Air Travels Connected to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Came to or from British Airports
Analysis has uncovered that nearly 90 flights linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left British airfields, with some allegedly transporting women from the UK who allege they were victimized by the convicted sex offender.
Aviation Records Reveal Trail of Movement
The travel manifests were part of a trove of legal papers and papers released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been made public over the past year. The investigation uncovered 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein – encompassing many that were not previously known – coming into or leaving from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel
Unnamed “females” were recorded among the travelers travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights happened subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a underage person.
“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his activities in the country,” stated US lawyers representing numerous Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Court Cases
Testimony from one of the British victims was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that individual has never been contacted by UK authorities, according to her attorney based in Florida.
In a statement, the London's Metropolitan Police stated they had “not received any new evidence that would support reopening the investigation.” They commented, “If fresh and pertinent information be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will assess it.”
Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
A bill to make public all files held by the American government in concerning Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of files are anticipated to be released.
Separately, a US judge ordered last week that the DOJ could make public case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
