Reports indicate that fan-favorite actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Production is currently underway.
A Major Comeback for the Franchise
The actors will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. Industry whispers indicate their cameos will probably be featured in a future-set scene, given that the original saga concluded with their characters living in peace.

Sunrise on the Reaping is adapted from a newly published work by author Suzanne Collins. It acts as the second film set before the original story after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.
